Syracuse brought 19,912 people to the Carrier Dome to watch the season-opening win.
Syracuse (1-0) got off to an easy start to the season on Tuesday night in the Carrier Dome, dispatching Eastern Washington (0-1), 66-34. The Orange were led by 20 points from Oshae Brissett and stingy pressure defense. Jalen Carey, a freshman point guard for SU, also made his debut after sitting out the two exhibition games.
